Positive action- Renishaw

Resident

On Friday 24th April 2026, PC Hempsey & PCSO RAWSON were on mobile patrol in the Renishaw area, following colleagues from South Yorkshire Police earlier advising them of a CUPRA FORMENTOR stolen on their area. Following an extensive area search, both PC HEMPSEY & PCSO RAWSON located the stolen vehicle in Renishaw.

Upon locating the vehicle, a female was later stop & searched under section 23 Misuse of Drugs act and arrested, and A large quantity of suspected crack cocaine & heroin was located and seized, as well as a quantity of cash and stolen items within the vehicle. 

Overall, a positive result reflecting on partnership working, to ensure our areas remain safe. 

 Remember, we cannot be everywhere, but we can be anywhere!
